HOT SPRINGS — Blaine Raymond Gibson,

90, of Hot Springs, Ark., went to be with his Savior on June 22, 2021. He was born November 7, 1930, in Harrison, Arkansas, to William and Clara (Lunsford) Gibson. Blaine retired from Blakely Dam after over 30 years of service and was a founding member of Twin Lakes Baptist Church. Blaine loved his Lord, family, friends, and his church. He had a special place in his heart for the staff at Garrett Woods and caregivers, who cared for him in the past six months.

Blaine was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Bessie Gibson; brothers, John Gibson, James Gibson, Bill Gibson, Charles Gibson, Frank Gibson, Glenn Gibson, Bob Gibson; and sisters, Irene Moss, Maxine Gibson, and Jean Smith. Survivors include sons, Bill Gibson, Gary Gibson; daughter, Rosa Hignight (Tommy); sister, Francis Parrett; grandchildren, Jeremy Hignight (Kathy), Jeffrey Hignight (Colby), Jason Hignight (Emily); and great-grandchildren, Kamri, Ashlyn, Kinley, Pryce, and Madelyn.

Visitation will be 6 to 8 p.m., Friday, at Caruth-Hale Funeral Home. A celebration of life will be 10 a.m., Saturday, at CaruthHale Funeral Home with Bro. Wade Overturf officiating. Burial will follow at Greenwood Cemetery. Online condolences at: www.caruth-hale.com.
