Nancy Denton Warner

BURLESON, Texas — passed away in Fort Worth, Texas on August 1, 2021. She was of Methodist and Nazarene faiths. Born in Little Rock, Ark., on March 19, 1939, she was raised in the Rose City area of North Little Rock. She was the baby of her beloved Denton family. She attended Rose City Schools and graduated from North Little Rock High School in the class of 1957.

Nancy is survived by her husband of 60 years, Luther Floyd Warner of Burleson, Texas; daughters, Leellen Everwine (Greg) of Alvarado, Texas., and Amanda Skon (Daniel) of Burleson, Texas; grandchildren, Amy Singleterry (Brian) of Fort Worth, Texas, Chase Grantz (Brianna) of Oklahoma City, Okla., Molly Rose Warner of Burleson, Texas; great-grandchildren, Marin and Rose Singleterry; and her beloved brother, Gene Denton, of Clarksville, Ark. She treasured her family, lovingly raised her two daughters and supported her husband with all of her might. She said she never accomplished much, since she didn’t have a college degree or fancy career; but oh, how she excelled at being a mother, wife, and homemaker; that’s what she wanted and it made her very happy. She wore her family name of “Bubba” with great pride. She loved Jesus and we know she is now enjoying her time in Heaven without the physical pain she experienced the last several years of her life.
