After-School Snacks

Toss in peanuts or pretzel sticks to give this irresistible mix a sweet-and-salty twist.

6 cups cinnamon-toast flavor cereal

6 waffle-style ice cream cones, broken into small pieces

1 cup white vanilla baking chips

¼ cup sprinkles

1½ cups candy-coated chocolate candies

1. In large bowl, mix cereal and waffle cone pieces. Spread on waxed paper.

2. In small microwavable bowl, place baking chips. Microwave uncovered on MEDIUM 1 minute. Stir and microwave in 15-second increments, stirring after each, until chips start to melt and can be stirred smooth. Drizzle chocolate onto cereal mixture and top with sprinkles. Let stand about 30 minutes, until set.

3. Break up cereal mix; add chocolate candies. Store in an airtight container up to 3 days, or freeze up to 2 weeks. Makes 12 cups 1 Per ( ⁄ -cup) serving: 181 cal, 7g fat, 2mg chol, 2g prot, 29g carbs, 20g 2 sugar, 1g fiber, 81mg sodium
