CAMDEN FAIRVIEW 60, WATSON CHAPEL 24

CAMDEN — Camden Fairview (3-1) had its offense in high gear against Watson Chapel (0-2).

The Cardinals scored 32 points in the first half and scored an additional 21 points in the third quarter to lock up the win.

CLARKSVILLE 32, POTTSVILLE 10

POTTSVILLE — Clarksville (1-2) used an 18-point third-quarter burst to push past Pottsville (2-2).

Pottsville got on the board first with a touchdown run by Landon Mahan. Clarksville responded later in the first quarter, with Bryce Buckner scoring on a 3-yard run.

The game remained tied at 7-7 until Mahan kicked a 23-yard field goal just before halftime to put Pottsville back on top.

It was all Clarksville in the third quarter. Arthur Alvarez scored on a 65-yard run, then Buckner took over with two rushing touchdowns of his own.

Buckner capped his big night and put the game out of reach in the fourth quarter, throwing a touchdown pass to Noah Vergara.

DARDANELLE 42, CLINTON 26

DARDANELLE — Drew Vega scored five touchdowns to lead Dardanelle (1-2) past Clinton (1-2) for the Sand Lizards’ first win of the season.

DE QUEEN 14, FOUKE 7

De QUEEN — Donyea Whitmore ran for 170 yards and a touchdown as De Queen (1-3) defeated Fouke (1-2) in a low-scoring contest.

DES ARC 12, EARLE 6

EARLE — Des Arc (3-1) came away with a road win against Earle (2-2) despite a big game from the Bulldogs’ Ardell Smith, who had 18 carries for 165 yards and a touchdown.

GURDON 50, MINERAL SPRINGS 8

GURDON — Zamari Haynie caught a touchdown pass and ran for two more as Gurdon (3-1) got off to a quick start and rolled to a victory over Mineral Springs (0-3).

The Go-Devils led 21-0 after the first quarter and 43-8 at halftime.

In addition to his three touchdowns, Haynie also forced a fumble on defense. Labralon Washington had a touchdown catch and an interception.

HARDING ACADEMY 59, CAMDEN HARMONY GROVE 18

SEARCY — Kade Smith finished 25-of-33 passing for 369 yards and 3 touchdowns as Harding Academy (3-1) took off in the second half.

Andrew Miller ran 13 times for 130 yards and scored 3 times for the Wildcats, who scored 42 points in the second half after leading just 17-6 at halftime.

Jackson Fox caught 10 passes for 197 yards with a touchdown in the rout for Harding Academy.

HAYNESVILLE (LA.) 40, JUNCTION CITY 28

HAYNESVILLE, La. — Toby Franklin carried 20 times for 214 yards and scored two touchdowns for Haynesville (La.) (2-1) in its border victory.

Kyle Woodard also threw a scoring pass to Keegan Goodwin for the Golden Tornadoes, who led 28-20 at halftime. Haynesville finished with 384 yards rushing for the game.

Jordavion Williams ran 14 times for 160 yards and scored twice for Junction City (2-2).

The Dragons tied the game at 28-28 in the third quarter on Williams 36-yard touchdown before Franklin responded shortly thereafter with a 24-yard score. He then put the game away with a 57yard touchdown with 5:48 to go in the fourth. threw for two touchdowns.

HOT SPRINGS LAKESIDE 49, MALVERN 14

HOT SPRINGS — Behind an explosive offensive performance, Hot Springs Lakeside (1-2) got things together and cruised past Malvern (1-2) .

Senior quarterback Jordan Mills was 14-for-23 passing for 348 yards and 5 touchdowns for the Rams, who won their fourth in a row in the series.

Chase Cross had 5 catches for 171 yards and 3 scores, and Braylen Russell rushed 14 times for 112 yards and 2 touchdowns for Lakeside.

Cedric Simmons and Ja Noah Harris had scoring runs for Malvern.

LAKE HAMILTON 41, HOT SPRINGS 0

PEARCY — Lake Hamilton (3-0) did all of its scoring in the first half to blow past its rival.

Justin Crutchmer returned the opening kickoff 80 yards for the Wolves, who beat Hot Springs (2-2) for the sixth year in a row. Caleb Waller ran an interception back for a touchdown, Kendrick Martin scored on a 10-yard run and Alex Hurtz added a field goal in the first quarter as Lake Hamilton ran out to a 24-0 lead.

Crutchmer had a 65-yard scoring run, Hurtz added another field goal and Grant Bearden threw a touchdown pass all in the second quarter for the Wolves.

Perry Jones finished with nine carries for 36 yards to lead Hot Springs.

LITTLE ROCK PARKVIEW 47, PINE BLUFF 0

PINE BLUFF — Jaylon White was perfect throwing the ball in the first half, and Little Rock Parkview (3-0) added two defensive touchdowns and a punt return for a score in its rout of Pine Bluf (1-1).

White went 7 for 7 in the first half and finished the game 8 for 11 for 166 yards and a touchdown, a 63-yarder to Hunter Austin.

James Jointer tallied 119 yards on 10 carries and had touchdown runs of 32 and 26 yards.

Willie Eackles, who returned a punt 35 yards for a touchdown with 2:14 left in the third quarter, had three receptions for 64 yards.

Parkview totaled 349 yards of offense and held Pine Bluff to 111 yards.

Will Howell completed 5 of 19 passes for 107 yards for the Zebras.

Courtney Crutchfield had a 61-yard reception, and Tyrea Campbell rushed twice for 17 yards to lead the Zebras’ ground game.

MAGNET COVE 35, PARKERS CHAPEL 8

MAGNET COVE — Magnet Cove (2-2) only needed the first quarter to put away Parkers Chapel (0-2), jumping out to an early three-score lead at home.

Brett Williams scored two of the Panthers’ three first-quarter touchdowns, running one in from 56 yards and another from 1 yard later in the quarter.

Jacob Clausen also threw a touchdown, this one to Julius McLelland, in the first quarter, helping give Magnet Cove a 21-0.

Williams was responsible for another touchdown in the third quarter, this one on a 3-yard run.

Parkers Chapel’s lone score of the game came in the final quarter, on a 1-yard run from Blake Caldwell.

MARKED TREE 44, PIGGOTT 21

PIGGOTT — Marked Tree’s (2-1) Willie Marshall had a big night for the Indians, scoring five touchdowns in his team’s victory over Piggott (0-3).

Marshall had touchdown runs of 41, 12 and 3 yards in the first quarter, a 75-yard touchdown return in the second quarter, and a 14-yard touchdown reception from quarterback Aiden McGuire in the third quarter.

Marshall led Marked Tree with 175 yards on 13 carries. He also had an interception and fumble recovery in the win.

MELBOURNE 40, ENGLAND 0

ENGLAND — Carter Bray and Robert Langston of Melbourne (3-1) led a rushing attack that rolled up 282 total yards of offense in a win over England (0-3).

Bray ran 14 times for 117 yards and 2 touchdowns. Langston had 21 carries for 92 yards and also scored twice.

MCGEHEE 15, CROSSETT 13

CROSSETT — Crossett (2-1) and McGehee (3-0) came down to the wire, as the Owls stopped a two-point conversion with less than two minutes left in the game to beat the Eagles.

McGehee got out to an early lead with a first-quarter touchdown from Channing Woodson and a two-point conversion. Crossett pulled closer with a 20-yard touchdown pass from Sam Polite that put the Eagles down one point heading into halftime.

McGehee’s Jodi Easter also scored a 20-yard touchdown in the third to help the Owls go up 15-8.

MONTICELLO 26, FORDYCE 7

MONTICELLO — Ryan Franklin returned an interception 83 yards for a touchdown in the fourth quarter to help seal a huge home victory for Monticello (2-1).

Doerian Allen had a 12-yard touchdown run and caught scoring passes of 40 and 80 yards from J.T. England as the Billies pulled away.

Jacobie Walker has a 6-yard touchdown catch for Fordyce (2-1), which had its 20-game winning streak snapped.

MOUNTAIN HOME 35, BATESVILLE 7

BATESVILLE — Brady Barnett ran for 182 yards on 17 carries with a touchdown to lead Mountain Home (1-2) to its first victory of the season.

Four different players scored for the Bombers, who led 21-0 at halftime.

Gage Lindsey carried 16 times for 73 yards and scored 2 touchdowns, while Masen Walker finished with 95 yards on the ground on 9 rushes and added a touchdown. Cade Yates had a touchdown pass as well as Mountain Home ended the night with 466 yards of offense.

Batesville (0-3) scored its lone touchdown in the fourth quarter on a 12-yard pass from Jay Storlie to Keaton Douglas.

MOUNTAIN VIEW 48, QUITMAN 27

MOUNTAIN VIEW — The hosts jumped out big in the first half to safely secure the win over Quitman (1-2).

The Yellowjackets (3-1) scored 14 points in the first quarter and 22 more in the second before tacking on an additional 12 in the fourth.

Quitman scored 14 fourth-quarter points but its comeback attempt fell well short.

NETTLETON 35, POCAHONTAS 28

NETTLETON — Host Nettleton (30) was able to secure the victory over Pocahontas (2-1) to stay undefeated on the year.

Nettleton quarterback Cameron Scarlett had over 300 yards of total offense for the Raiders.

PERRYVILLE 59, CONWAY CHRISTIAN 0

PERRYVILLE — Tyler Givens completed 7 of 8 passes for 114 yards and 4 touchdowns as Perryville (2-1) opened up a huge halftime lead and rolled to victory.

Gatlin Peoples rushed 12 times for 137 yards and a touchdown, and Luke Underwood carried 9 times for 101 yards and a score for the Mustangs, who led 53-0 at halftime before coasting in the second half to keep Conway Christian (0-3) winless on the season.

RIVERCREST 31, BROOKLAND 26

BROOKLAND — A balanced Rivercrest (1-1) attack helped the visitors secure a win over Brookland (2-1).

Rivercrest running back Tray Jones led the way for the Colts with 105 yards and 3 touchdowns on 18 carries. Quarterback Mike Sharp passed for 213 yards and had a crisp connection with wide receiver Michael Rainer who had seven receptions for 72 yards.

Brookland scored twice in the first quarter before adding third- and fourth-quarter touchdowns, but it wasn’t enough to complete the comeback.

SALEM 30, CORNING 7

SALEM — Dakota Jackson threw for two touchdowns and ran for another as Salem (2-0) defeated Corning (1-1).

Dalton Steward was on the receiving end of both touchdown passes.

Elijah Romine added a 41-yard scoring run.

Tyler Siddons led the Greyhounds’ defense with 10 tackles and three sacks.

SHERIDAN 42, JACKSONVILLE 7

SHERIDAN — Quarterback Konner Canterbury rushed 12 times for 74 yards and 4 touchdowns to power Sheridan (2-1) to a convincing victory at home.

Canterbury scored on runs of 1, 14, 18 and 20 yards for the Yellowjackets. Connor Anderson also added a touchdown on the ground for Sheridan.

Jaden Jones scored on a 12-yard for Jacksonville (0-3), which turned the ball over seven times.

One of those turnovers resulted in a fumble returned for a touchdown by Sheridan.

The Titans were also penalized 14 times for 99 yards.

STAR CITY 55, HAMPTON 7

STAR CITY — CJ Turner took a handoff on the first play from scrimmage and ran 89 yards for a touchdown, and Star City (2-1) never looked back in a rout of Hampton (0-3).

Turner, Mason Taylor and Ty Grayson each finished with two rushing touchdowns. Big plays carried the Bulldogs, as Turner racked up 132 yards on just 4 carries, and Taylor had 2 rushes for 90 yards.

On the defensive side, Ryan Allbright had an interception for Star City.

TRUMANN 42, PARAGOULD 8

TRUMANN — Trumann (2-2) scored all six of its touchdowns in the first three quarters in downing Paragould (1-2).

Devon Miles had touchdown runs for the Wildcats on runs of 1 yard and 82 yards.

Murphy Williams, Eli Evett, Coda Cameron and Keagan Overshine also had touchdown runs of in the victory.
