The NASCAR Cup playoffs’ Round of 16 moves into its third and final race tonight at Bristol Motor Speedway with the Bass Pro Shops Night Race. Drivers will be trading paint on the .533-mile Tennessee oval for the chance to keep racing for the Cup title in the Round of 12, which begins next week. Kevin Harvick won this race a year ago, trading leads with Kyle Busch over an intense string of closing laps to take his ninth victory of the season and second of the postseason.

7 p.m. on ANPL The Zoo: San Diego

When lesser flamingo eggs and chicks are being preyed upon by hungry predators, the zoo team is forced to make a nerve-wracking decision in the new episode “Baby Wallaby Debut.” Meanwhile, Thelma the wallaby and her joey, Everest, become ambassador animals. Elsewhere, members of the staff create a new perch for Stuart, the young fishing cat.

7 p.m. on HGTV Outgrown

On “Boise Boys,” real-life buddies Luke Caldwell and Clint Robertson showed their viewers the ins and outs of flipping houses. In this spinoff, however, the duo teams up again to help families renovate their existing homes to meet their changing needs over the passage of time. In the series premiere, “Crowded Cottage,” Caldwell and Robertson try to help a couple and their two sons who are fairly bursting out of their 700-square-foot home. The grandparents live next door, though, and they don’t want to lose their years of family history by moving.

7 p.m. on LIFE Movie: Imperfect High

A follow-up to the well-received 2015 TV movie “Perfect High,” this new 2021 drama explores the harsh realities of teenage drug abuse, especially in terms of how peer pressure often exacerbates such behavior. The topic is presented from the perspective of Hanna Brooks (Nia Sioux), a new girl trying to fit in at Lakewood High School, where a popular student overdosed a couple of years earlier. Sherri Shepherd and Ali Skovbye also star.

7 p.m. on HBO Movie: Mortal Kombat

Based on the video game franchise of the same title, this visually dazzling and action-packed 2021 martial arts fantasy film from first-time feature director Simon McQuoid earned critical kudos for its action sequences and visual effects, while also setting viewership records on the streaming platform where it premiered. Lewis Tan stars as Cole Young, a washed-up mixed martial arts fighter who is ignorant of his family lineage and can’t understand why an assassin called Sub-Zero is stalking him. Jessica McNamee, Josh Lawson and Mehcad Brooks also star.

7 p.m. on FXX 2021 Creative Arts Emmy Awards

Taped during two nights of ceremonies on Sept. 11 and 12 at the Event Deck at L.A. Live in Los Angeles, this combined telecast of highlights features the awarding of Emmys for technical and other similar achievements, as well as guest acting roles on TV productions. Leading the field of nominees this year is the Disney Plus streaming series “The Mandalorian,” which received 19 nominations. This year’s Governors Award, presented each year for outstanding achievement in the arts and sciences or management of television, goes to actress-dancer-director Debbie Allen.

HALL 8 p.m. on Movie: Raise a Glass to Love

Jenna (Broadway star Laura Osnes), who aspires to be a master sommelier, returns to her family vineyard to study and gain some workplace experience in this 2021 romantic comedy. Soon, however, it’s not just the wine she finds intoxicating, as Jenna grows intrigued by the natural methods — not to mention the devastating charm — of the handsome Argentinian winemaker Marcelo (Juan Di Pace). Real-life master sommelier Jennifer Huether, a consultant on this TV movie, also has a cameo as herself.

9:03 p.m. on LIFE Movie: The Price of Fitting In

A suburban mother, Amber, fears that her worst nightmare is coming true when her previously well-behaved daughter, Charlie, starts hanging out with the wrong crowd at her school. As Charlie’s grades start to plummet and the teenager becomes surly and withdrawn around her mother, Amber realizes that her daughter has become a drug addict. Now she must figure out how to pull Charlie back from the brink before it’s too late. Lora Burke, Elizabeth Adams, Nick Smyth and Kadrian Enyia star in this 2021 melodrama.
