After a young woman is murdered on her way home from an opulent yacht party, the team investigates who the victim was and what led her inside one of the most influential social circles in the world in the Season 4 premiere “All That Glitters.” Meanwhile, Maggie (Missy Peregrym) brings Crosby (Kellan Lutz, guest starring in his “FBI Most Wanted” role) into the investigation after a murder suspect is identified as a military veteran who had been on several Army operations with Crosby.

7 p.m. on FOX The Resident

Is Dr. Conrad Hawkins (Matt Czuchry) about to become a widower? He and his longtime love, nurse Nicolette Nevin (Emily VanCamp), tied the knot and welcomed a daughter in Season 4, but fans of the “CoNic” relationship were rocked by VanCamp’s August bombshell announcement that she isn’t returning for Season 5, which premieres tonight. (Another lead character, Shaunette Renée Wilson’s Dr. Mina Okafor, also left the medical drama at the end of last season). Bruce Greenwood, Manish Dayal, Malcolm Jamal-Warner and Jane Leeves return to their familiar roles.

8 p.m. on CBS FBI: Most Wanted

A local FBI case involving two murdered women and a long list of powerful men morphs into a manhunt for the dangerous leader of a far-reaching criminal enterprise in the Season 3 premiere, “Exposed.” Meanwhile, OA (Zeeko Zaki, guest starring in his “FBI” role) helps Jess (Julian McMahon) and the team, with an assist from Special Agent Kristin Gaines (new cast member Alexa Davalos).

8 p.m. on FOX Our Kind of People

Inspired by a non-fiction book by Lawrence Otis Graham, this new drama takes place in the affluent Oak Bluffs section of Martha’s Vineyard, where members of the rich and powerful Black elite have come to play for more than 50 years. The series revolves around strong-willed single mother Angela Vaughn (Yaya DaCosta, “Chicago Med”) as she arrives to reclaim her family name and launch a natural hair care line. Morris Chestnut, Joe Morton (“Scandal”), Lance Gross (“Hawaii Five-0”) and newcomer Alana Bright also star. Lee Daniels (“Empire”) is an executive producer.

9 p.m. on NBC New Amsterdam

After a chaotic year of hardship and sacrifice, medical director Max Goodwin (Ryan Eggold) and his team at New Amsterdam begin a well-earned new chapter in their lives as Season 4 opens with a premiere optimistically titled “More Joy.” For Max, that means finally surrendering to his long-simmering feelings for colleague Dr. Helen Sharpe (Freema Agyeman), while Dr. Lauren Bloom (Janet Montgomery) finds her way through a promising relationship with new resident Dr. Leyla Shinwari (Shiva Kalaiselvan).

Michelle Forbes guest stars as a new doctor who clashes with Max.

9 p.m. on CBS FBI: International

Mega-producer Dick Wolf launches the third entry in his “FBI” franchise with this new procedural drama, which follows the elite operatives of the Federal Bureau of Investigation’s Fly Team. Headquartered in Prague, these top agents are tasked with tracking and neutralizing threats against American citizens wherever they might occur, although they’re not allowed to carry guns. In the “Pilot,” Special Agent Scott Forrester (Luke Kleintank, “Bones”) and his team head to Croatia to help Isobel Castille (guest star Alana De La Garza, “FBI”) capture an American fugitive.

9 p.m. on FS1 MLB Baseball

As they fight for a Wild Card berth, the San Diego Padres need every win they can get. But that will likely be an uphill battle tonight at Petco Park when they host Brandon Crawford and the San Francisco Giants in the opener of a threegame series. To date, Fernando Tatis Jr. and the Pods have played their NL West rivals to almost a draw this season, winning four of the nine games between them.

9:01 p.m. on ABC The Ultimate Surfer

Alliances and friendships that have been built during the competition are tested as never before as two men and two women meet in a final showdown in “The Ultimate Surfers,” the season finale. Kelly Slater, an 11-time surfing world champion, surprises the finalists with a once-ina-lifetime coaching session, in which he gives them real-time feedback on a wave he has just created. After a nail-biting race at the Final Surf Off, a man and a woman are crowned the Ultimate Surfers, winning $100,000 and a spot on the WSL Championship Tour.
