TICHNOR — Martha Annette Williams Grantham,

81, lovingly known as “Granette,” passed away on Tuesday, October 19, 2021. Born on April 5, 1940, she left a rich and profound legacy for her family, friends, church, and community. She was an extraordinary example of Christ’s

love to numerous friends and an iconic matriarch to an adoring family.

She was preceded in death by her husband of 50 years, Billy Grantham of Tichnor; parents, Henry and Opal Williams; and sister, Dorothy Williams Powell of Stuttgart.

Annette is survived by her three sons; eight grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren; (son) Randy and Darla Grantham of Gillett; two daughters, Christina, Bernie, Bear and Ginny Crowley of Hernando, Miss., and Katie, Matthew, George, and Madison Lehner of Little Rock; (son) Jim Grantham (Annette), three children. Stacey, James, Cameron, Liam and Nolan McEntire of Heber Springs; Dex, Karley, Will and Ben Grantham of Greenbrier; Megan, Emmitt, and Hunter Henderson of Stuttgart; and (son) Jason, Melissa, Mary-Claire, Chloe-Belle, and Ava-Grace Grantham.

Visitation will be at 1 p.m. October 21 at Gillett Methodist Church with funeral services beginning at 2:00. Burial will follow in Bonner’s Chapel Cemetery by Essex Funeral Home.
