STARKVILLE, Miss. — Margie Frances McFalls Clary

was born July 19, 1928 and died peacefully in her sleep Saturday, November 27, 2021.

She is survived by her three children: Larry Clary (Sandra), North Little Rock; Mike Clary (Karen), Knoxville, Tenn., and Kim Clary Prestridge (Steve), Starkville, Miss.; six grandchildren, Josh Clary (Jennifer), Fayetteville, Sarah Clary Rogers (Charlie), North Little Rock, Jacob Clary, Golden, Colo., John Clary, Washington D.C., Keri Prestridge Wilson (Ron), Summit, Miss., Anna Prestridge Scruggs (Marshall), Madison, Miss.; seven great-grandchildren, Emma Clary Davis (Jacob), Ty Clary, Lincoln Rogers, Clary Pearl Rogers, Claudia Wilson, Amos Wilson, Ivy Frances Wilson; and beloved nurse and friend, Martha Stovall.

She was preceded in death by husband, Lamar ‘Pete’ Clary; parents, J. K McFalls and Myrtle McLemore McFalls; brother, Edwin McFalls; sisters: Katherine White (Havis); Dorothy Steed (Jerald); and Betty J. Ragland (Roy).

Margie lived a long and full life, always exemplifying to her family strong values of love and sacrifice.

As a mother whose husband ‘Pete’ traveled with his work, she single handedly ran a busy household, worked full-time, was active in her church, attended all the kids activities, nightly served homemade meals, starched and ironed “everything,” and loved her role as MOM’!

When college and weddings emptied the home, she began to travel with Pete. The birth of grandchildren would always bring her home to celebrate, serve, and cuddle the newborns. She passionately loved her grand- and great-grandchildren, and as an avid sports fan she loved watching any sport they played.

AND she loved the Razorbacks! She rarely ever missed a game. Attending the Razorback signing with her great-grandson was a monumental occasion! Watching him play for her beloved HOGS was “red dress-up” day!

Margie spent her last two-anda-half years ‘living and loving’ with her daughter Kim and son-inlaw Steve. They loved her well, as did her nurse and friend Martha Stovall. She will be forever missed and always remembered.
