On Saturday, December 4, 2021, our heavenly father called HENRY ANDERSON JR. home.

He obliged and will forever be comforted in his arms. Henry was born on September 9, 1970, the eldest child and only son of the late Henry L. Anderson Sr. and Linda Anderson Williams of Little Rock. Henry confessed his faith in Christ at the age of nine and was baptized at St. John Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor C.D. Edwards. At the time of his death he was a proud member of Eastern Star Missionary Baptist Church under the leadership of Pastor Landrum Marshall Jr. DDS. Henry graduated from UALR and only needed to complete his dissertation for his Doctorate of Education Degree at the time of his death.

Henry was Superintendent of the Marvell-Elaine School District for the past three years as an educator for over 28 years. Henry believed every child deserved a quality education and his motto was, “What about the Children.” Henry was a member of Phi Beta Sigma Fraternity, Inc., and was President of the Board of Directors of Great Rivers Education Service Co-Op.

Henry was preceded in death by father, Henry L. Anderson, Sr.

He is survived by his mother, Linda Anderson Williams; sisters, Dr. Lynn M. (Pedro) Frazier, Tiffiany C. (Renee) Anderson; adopted sisters, Charlise Smith, Keyona Williams, and Alyssa Williams; nieces, Chaniqua Frazier, Kamri Allen, Morgan Dowell; nephews, Paris Frazier and Melvin Dowell; great-nieces, Taniyah Frazier, Kaileigh Walls, and Journey Frazier; great-nephews, Preston RoSada, Tevin Turner Jr., Damien Dowell, Paris Frazier Jr. (AKA PJ), Cortez Lewis, Kaden Lewis and TyJon Jones; many aunts, uncles, and cousins, and the many lives he touched on his journey as teacher, assistant principal, principal and superintendent.
