FAYETTEVILLE — Carole Anne Falkner,

80, of Fayetteville died on November 10, 2021. Born in Sharon, Pa, to Mary Anne Evans and Harold Falkner, Carole graduated from Slippery Rock College, where she studied Music and Physical Education. Carole spent many years teaching, particularly loving her residence in France and China. Carole had a lifelong passion for genealogy and was a proud member of the DAR. When Carole retired as an ESL teacher from the Pulaski County Schools, she moved to Fayetteville to be near family, to pursue historic cemetery preservation, play mah-jongg and fish at Lake Fayetteville.

Carole is survived by her brother, Jon Falkner, and wife, Jeanie; two daughters, Elizabeth Bainbridge and Heather Hackworth; and three grandchildren, Ella, Aidan, and Alex.

A memorial service is planned for December 12 at 2 p.m. at Son’s Chapel in Fayetteville. The family asks that any memorials/ donations be sent to either the Washington County Cemetery Preservation or the Symphony of Northwest Arkansas.
