RUSSELLVILLE — John William Camp Richardson,

65, of Russellville, Ark., died Saturday, May 21, 2022, at Arkansas Hospice River Valley Home in Russellville. Cremation arrangements are under the direction of the J. Herman Humphrey Dignity Cremation Center with a private family committal service held in the center’s Chapel of Light in Russellville. The son of Jerry and Thelma “Billie” Clower Richardson, he was born November 28, 1956, in Warren, Arkansas. He was preceded in death by his parents and his mother-in-law, Jane Preiss. He is survived by his wife of 39 years, Elizabeth (Preiss) Richardson; their son, Jerry Camp Richardson of Russellville; two daughters: Grace Anne Caballero (Marianne) of Washington, DC; and Hannah Elizabeth Richardson of Russellville; his brother, Jerry C. Richardson (Camille) of Little Rock; two sisters: Belle Summers (Carlos); and Leanna McClendon (Glenn), both of Conway; and his father-in-law, George Preiss of Little Rock.

John was an engineer with Entergy of Arkansas for 34 years before retiring from Arkansas Nuclear One. He loved to read sci-fi and western books, woodworking, fishing and spending time with his family and friends.
