UALR players named second team All-Sun Belt

— Mitchell Gladstone

University of Arkansas-Little Rock pitcher Hayden Arnold and outfielder Noah Dickerson both claimed spots on the All-Sun Belt Conference second team, as announced by the league office Monday.

For Arnold, it was his second all-conference honor — the Rison native turned in a 3.10 ERA in 14 starts while pitching a league-high 90 innings. The right-hander struck out 81 while walking 14 and is among the top 30 pitchers in the nation with a 1.03 WHIP.

Dickerson ranked in the top 10 in the Sun Belt in batting average, slugging percentage, doubles and RBI. The Windermere, Fla., native also hit 11 home runs and ranks second among Trojans with 115 total bases.
