Travs pitcher earns Texas League weekly honor

Connor Jones was named Texas League Pitcher of the Week after he threw eight shutout innings for the Arkansas Travelers in their Thursday win against Northwest Arkansas.

The 2016 second-round pick of the St. Louis Cardinals threw seven scoreless innings in his previous start at San Antonio, and he is now the second Travs pitcher to claim a weekly honor following Taylor Dollard.
