FBI

In the Season 4 finale, “Prodigal Son,” the team investigates a robbery that turned deadly and yielded a formidable cache of automatic weapons for the killers. As they delve deeper, the agents discover that one of the perps is a classmate of Jubal’s (Jeremy Sisto) son, Tyler (guest star Bastian Kick Sisto, Jeremy’s real-life son). Unfortunately, the young man is reluctant to cooperate with his father’s colleagues. Alana De La Garza and John Boyd also star in this crime procedural, which has been renewed for Seasons 5 and 6.

This Is Us

Well, we can’t say series creator Dan Fogelman didn’t warn us. Periodically during this Emmy-winning drama’s run, Fogelman has told journalists the time-hopping saga of the Pearson clan will span six seasons, which end tonight in a series finale that’s bound to tug at the heartstrings. Just as predictably, Fogelman is playing it close to the vest when it comes to story revelations, although star Milo Ventimiglia — who plays patriarch Jack Pearson — promises “It’s truly, truly going to deliver.” Sterling K. Brown and Mandy Moore also star.

MLB Baseball

A pair of NL playoff contenders go at it tonight at Petco Park, where Manny Machado and the San Diego Padres continue a three-game home set against Hunter Renfroe and the Milwaukee Brewers. Both teams are loaded with talent and at the top of their respective divisions, so this series could serve as something of a Wild Card or Division Series preview. This is the first of two series between these teams this season.

9:01 p.m. on NBC

New Amsterdam

The season finale, “I’ll Be Your Shelter,” finds a massive hurricane barreling down on New York, so Bloom (Janet Montgomery) and the hospital team scramble to get emergency preparations in place. Meanwhile, Max and Helen (Ryan Eggold, Freema Agyeman) plan an intimate wedding when she returns from London, and Reynolds (Jocko Sims) finally reaches his estranged father. Elsewhere, Iggy and Martin (Tyler Labine, recurring guest star Mike Doyle) reach a crossroads in their marriage. This medical drama will return for its fifth and final season.
