LR traffic stop leads to arrest for firearm
GRANT LANCASTER
Little Rock police on Tuesday afternoon arrested a man who was a felon with a stolen gun, according to an arrest report.
Police pulled over Kendrick Wilson, Sr., 49, of Little Rock, for having fictitious tags on his vehicle, the report said.
A search of the vehicle reportedly uncovered a Taurus handgun that had been reported stolen.
Officers discovered Wilson had a suspended driver’s license and is a convicted felon, meaning he cannot legally own a gun. He faces two felony charges — possession of a firearm by a certain person and theft by receiving — and two misdemeanor counts — driving on a suspended license and having fictitious tags.
