CONWAY — Harry Lloyd Bickerton,

81, of Conway, Ark., formerly from Belle Vernon, Pa., passed away Monday, August 8, 2022, surrounded by his family and friends. He was born February 16, 1941, to the late Robert and Bettie Bickerton of Belle Vernon, Pa.

Harry is survived by his wife of 58 years, Sandra Bickerton; his daughters, Rebecca Smith of Conway, and Jennifer Castleberry and his son, Greg Castleberry, both of Wooster; grandchildren, Jessica Daniel (Jason) of Bentonville, Spencer Castleberry (Alex) of Conway, Emily Steele (Alec) of Bentonville, Sarah Castleberry of Greenbrier, and Austin Castleberry (Charis) of Conway; great-grandchildren, Hudson Daniel of Bentonville, Myles Johnson of Greenbrier, Paisley, Sadie, Caroline, Chloe, and Aiden Castleberry, all of Conway. Harry is also survived by sisters, Tara Bickerton of Bentonville, Cindy Pagano of Charleroi, Pa., Aleen Pack of Perryopolis, Pa., and Beth Province of Bentonville.

Harry was a member of De Molay, Masons, and 32nd degree Masons. He served in the US Navy aboard the aircraft carrier USS Randolph. He worked for Arkansas Power and Light, where he retired after 27 years. After retirement he opened up a gift shop in downtown Conway called The Yankee Peddler.

Harry was proud to serve his country, which he loved so much. He was a true patriot. He was a member of Victory Baptist Church and he loved his church family dearly. Harry was most happy when spending time with his family and especially his beloved Maltipoo, Bella.

Visitation will be held Thursday, August 11, 2022, from 6-8 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Funeral Home in Conway. Funeral services will be held Friday, August 12, 2022, at 2 p.m. at Roller-McNutt Chapel in Conway. Interment to follow at Crestlawn Memorial Park, with the Reverends Michael Himes and Dwain Minor officiating.
