Nashville, 1945: The Howard Theater mailed this postcard seeking to sell tickets for Lum and Abner’s latest movie, “Goin’ to Town.” In the plot, a purported oil tycoon stranded in Pine Ridge tries to buy Lum and Abner’s land. “Your Jot-’em-Down Pals on a Joy Jamboree!”
