Top three at Tyson set to change roles

Springdale-based Tyson Foods said Tuesday that three top executives will be changing roles in the company.

“These shifts draw on the individual strengths of these leaders and the broad expertise that exists within the company’s management team,” Donnie King, Tyson Foods president and chief executive officer said in a statement.

Stewart Glendinning will become group president prepared foods after serving as executive vice president and chief financial officer at Tyson Foods. He joined Tyson in 2017. Noelle O’Mara, the former group president prepared foods, is pursuing other opportunities and is no longer with the company, Tyson said in a statement.

John R. Tyson will serve as the new chief financial officer at Tyson Foods, where he will continue to lead enterprise strategy and sustainability activities. He joined Tyson in 2019.

Amy Tu will take the post of president, international and chief administrative office at Tyson, which expands her role as executive vice president, chief legal officer and secretary, global governance and corporate affairs, according to the company. She joined Tyson Foods in 2017.

The changes are effective Oct. 2.

Tyson shares fell 39 cents to close Tuesday at $68.56.
