Thanks to some Christmas magic, Emma (Katherine Barrell) gets to experience two different Christmases — one where she stays in the city and celebrates with a new crush (Evan Roderick) and his friends, and one where she returns home for all the traditions with her family ... and Drew (Chandler Massey), a longtime friend who may have feelings for her. Emma’s double holiday ultimately helps her discover what will truly make her happy in life as well as in love in this 2022 holiday romance.

7 p.m. on CW Silent Night: A Song for the World

Hugh Bonneville (“Downton Abbey”) narrates this two-hour documentary that explores the creation and cultural impact of the song widely considered to be the world’s most famous Christmas carol. Composed in 1818 in Salzburg, Austria, the song has been translated into 140 languages and contributed to an impromptu cease fire during World War I. Kelly Clarkson, Joss Stone, John Rhys-Davies, Katharine McPhee, Randy Jackson, Josh Groban and the Vienna Boys Choir are among the artists who appear.

7 p.m. on BET VH1 2022 Soul Train Awards

There’s a great battle for Album of the Year honors as everyone from Chris Brown to Beyonce to Bruno Mars and Lizzo are in the running at this year’s Soul Train Awards. In addition, 1980’s funk band Morris Day & The Time will receive the Legend Award. The group known for hits such as “Jungle Love,” “Jerk-Out” and “777-9311” amassed five Top 10 R&B/Hip-Hop hits during their career. Comedian and actor Deon Cole hosts.

7 p.m. on HALL Movie: Haul Out the Holly

Emily (Lacey Chabert) arrives home hoping to visit her parents, only to discover that they are leaving to go on a trip of their own. As she stays at their house for the holidays, their HOA is determined to get Emily to participate in the neighborhood’s many Christmas festivities, guaranteeing a happy holiday in this 2022 holiday movie. The cast also includes Wes Brown, Ellen Travolta, Peter Jacobson, Melissa Peterman and Stephen Tobolowsky.

7 p.m. on LIFE Movie: The 12 Days of Christmas Eve

Brian (Kelsey Grammer) is a successful businessman who’s let relationships with those around him suffer. While Christmastime has been the most successful for his business, he’s divorced, his relationship with his daughter Michelle (Spencer Grammer) is strained and he doesn’t have a meaningful connection with his only granddaughter. After Brian gets into a car accident on Christmas Eve, Santa gives him 12 chances to re-do the day and repair the relationships in his life to find the true meaning of Christmas in this 2022 fantasy.

7:20 p.m. on FREE Movie: Mulan

Mulan (Liu Yifei), the eldest daughter of an honored warrior, risks everything when the Emperor of China issues a decree that one man per family must serve in the Imperial Army to defend the country from Northern invaders. Mulan steps in to take the place of her ailing father. Masquerading as a man, she is tested every step of the way and must harness her inner-strength. It is an epic journey that will transform her into an honored warrior and earn her the respect of a grateful nation in this 2020 action film.

8 p.m. on OWN Oprah and Quinta Brunson Abbott Elementary

In this new “OWN Spotlight” special, Oprah Winfrey speaks with writer, producer and actress Quinta Brunson to discuss her mega hit comedy series, the Emmy Award-winning “Abbott Elementary.” Brunson shares reflections about her childhood, her greatest mentors and the pivotal moments of her career that have helped guide the 32-year-old to her current success.
