7 p.m. on TCM Movie: Super Size Me

Filmmaker Morgan Spurlock donates his body to science in this 2004 documentary, experimenting on himself with a 30-day diet of fast food. It’s fun at first, but the novelty soon grows thin, while he grows in the other direction and develops other health problems. Despite a few scenes that aren’t for the squeamish, Spurlock effectively tackles some heavy issues — body image, obesity, personal responsibility — with a light touch. The eye-opening doc airs as part of the channel’s “Reframed: Films That Shaped Our Culture” programming event.

7:15 p.m. on NBC NFL Football

A clash of NFC teams with sharply contrasting fortunes is on tap tonight in the City of Brotherly Love, as Jalen Hurts and the East-leading Philadelphia Eagles defend home turf from Aaron Rodgers and the Green Bay Packers. The Eagles are one of the year’s most pleasant surprises, going undefeated through the season’s first two months thanks largely to the performances of Hurts and one of the league’s stingiest defenses. Which doesn’t bode well for a team that has trouble putting points on the board like the Pack.
