6:30 p.m. on TNT NBA Basketball

Western Conference playoff contenders are front and center of tonight’s TNT doubleheader, which tips off in Dallas when Nikola Jokic and the Mavericks defend home hardwood from Klay Thompson and the Golden State Warriors. Then in the late game, it’s Paul George and the LA Clippers dropping in on Damian Lillard and the Portland Trail Blazers.

7 p.m. on CBS Rudolph the Red-Nosed Reindeer

The beloved “Animagic” tale of the most famous reindeer of all offers a thoughtful lesson about discrimination. Young Rudolph is teased by the other reindeer and excluded from their games because his nose is different. His taunters sing a different tune, though, when Rudolph uses the trait to keep Christmas from being canceled. Burl Ives is the voice of Sam the Snowman, who narrates the story and renders the title tune (of course) plus “A Holly Jolly Christmas.”

7 p.m. on OWN Queen Sugar

After seven seasons, the series finale episode “For They Existed,” brings to a close the legacy of the Bordelon family as it faces off against the Landrys in the final fight for their land with the help of their ancestors, loved ones and their fierce family bond. From filmmaker Ava DuVernay and executive producer Oprah Winfrey, the series stars Rutina Wesley, Dawn-Lyen Gardner, Kofi Siriboe and Tina Lifford.

8:01 p.m. on CBS Reindeer in Here

This new animated special from author Adam Reed tells the story of how Blizzard (Blizz), a young reindeer at the North Pole, has a unique trait — one antler is significantly smaller than the other. Despite this, he and his group of friends band together to save the future of Christmas and unknowingly create a magical holiday tradition. Blizz just wants to show Santa that his original inventions can make Christmas even better — you just have to believe in yourself.

9 p.m. on NBC Michael Bublé’s Christmas in the City

Canadian singer-songwriter Michael Bublé’s festive album “Christmas” spent five weeks in the No. 1 spot of the Billboard 200 list. The endearing crooner celebrates its 10th anniversary in this holiday special, which delivers a blend of comedy, music and solid-gold Christmas spirit, dispensed from Rockefeller Center’s storied Studio 8H in New York. Joining Bublé onstage are Emmy-winning “Ted Lasso” actress Hannah Waddingham, Leon Bridges, Camila Cabello, Jimmy Fallon and Kermit the Frog.
