EL PASO — LaWanda M. McGhee,

87, of El Paso, went to be with the Lord on Friday, January 20, 2023. She was born May 1, 1935, to the late Earl Ingram and Ada Metcalf Ingram. LaWanda was also preceded in death by her husbands, Lebert Moncrief and Lloyd McGhee; one sister, Jolene Ingram; children: two sons, Floyd and Lee Moncrief; grandchildren, Sean, Terry, and Crystal Jolene Lyons; and daughter-in-law, Dawn Moncrief.

LaWanda is survived by her children, Angel M. Moncrief and Michael T. Moncrief (Jamie); two brothers, Harold and Richard Ingram; sister, Betty Lynch (Jim); grandchildren, Christina (David), Misty (Brazos), Corey (Emily), Joshua, Sarah (Jonathan), Adam, Troy (Courtney), Amie, Kelly (Sean); great-grandchildren, Jackson Henson, Sparrow and River Roberts, James Lee, Elena, Aurora, Magnus, Elicia, Gideon Hart, Conner Crook, and Gregory Moncrief; and several nieces, nephews; and extended family.

LaWanda was a homemaker and a longtime member of Center Point Freewill Baptist Church. She loved the Lord very much and loved to sing in the church. She was a hard worker and had many talents. LaWanda enjoyed making quilts for all of her friends, but most of all she enjoyed spending time with her family, who she loved very much. LaWanda will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.

A memorial service will be held at 2 p., Saturday, January 28th, at Center Point Freewill Church in Vilonia.
