WHITE HALL — Charles Griffin,

73, of White Hall, passed away, Tuesday, January 24, 2023. He was born December 24, 1949, in Pine Bluff to the late Albert Franklin Griffin and Bessie Adams Griffin.

Charles attended Dollarway High School, then left to serve in the United States Army. He served from January 16, 1962, through August 17, 1973, and was an Army scout in Vietnam. He went to work for the Arkansas Department of Corrections, serving as Captain of Security, then went to work for the Pine Bluff Arsenal.

Charles will now be at rest with his beloved wife, Brenda Sue Griffin and a grandson, Tyler Griffin.

Survivors include two sons, Mark Griffin and wife Kristin, and Charles “Chuck” Griffin; four grandchildren, Brittany Griffin, Garrett Griffin, Cole Griffin and Anna Grace Griffin; two brothers, James Griffin and Ronnie Griffin; and a sister, Dorothy Yokley.
