NEW ORLEANS, La. — Michelle Cheri Frazier

of New Orleans, La., left this world unexpectedly on January 21, 2023, after a brief illness. She was born on November 28, 1969 in New Orleans, La., and is the oldest of the five Frazier girls.

She leaves behind her three sons, Spencer, Aiden, and Steele, whom she adored more than anything; as well as her mother and biggest supporter, Deborah Lombard Frazier. She also leaves behind the other Frazier girls, Bridgette, Adrienne, Yvette, and Juliette, who are broken-hearted and struggling to imagine a world without their funny and kind older sister. Michelle’s nieces and nephews, Lee, Isabella, Ava, John Michael, Henry, and Bryan Jr., who affectionately called her Mimi, will miss their silly aunt who was quick to laugh and extraordinarily generous with her love and advice. She will also be greatly missed by her multitude of aunts, uncles, and cousins.

Her Burial Mass will be Saturday, January 28, 2023, at Holy Spirit Catholic Church, 6201 Stratford Place in New Orleans. Visitation and viewing will be at 9:30 a.m. Rosary at 10:15 and Mass at 11 a.m., with a repast to follow. There will be a private burial at McDonoghville Cemetery where she will be laid to rest alongside her father, Lee R. Frazier. Arrangements will be handled by her family funeral home, Murray Henderson Funeral Home, where she spent many hours playing at her Grandmother Doretha’s feet. Any monetary donations or memorials may be made to All Saints Catholic Church, 1441 Teche Street, New Orleans, La. 70144, where Michelle was baptized and recently taught religious education.

Our hearts are broken, Mimi. We love you and will keep you in our hearts forever.
