Stocks closed higher on Wall Street as the market ended its third winning week in the last four. The S&P 500 rose 0.2% Friday, but gave up much of its afternoon gain. The Nasdaq composite also rose and the Dow Jones Industrial Average eked out a small gain. American Express helped lead the way after its profit forecast topped expectations. A report on Friday showed that inflation continues to cool.
