“They’ve made z5 million just by being themselves—and now look at their singing 17-year-old!” crowed Parade about the family who starred in TV’s The Adventures of Ozzie and Harriet. Son Ricky, 17, had become a “teenager’s delight” in the past year, after playing guitar and singing on the show. This was the year he’d have a number 1 hit “Poor Little Fool” on the Billboard’s Hot 100 chart. Nelson won a Spoken Word Grammy in 1987.
