DORIS MARIE EAZARSKY,

age 81, passed away on March 22, 2023. She was born on December 17, 1941 to Gerald and Lanelle Middlebrooks of Hartman, Ark.

She is survived by two of her children, Chris and Jonathan Burtner; her grandchildren, Andrew, Aiden, Douglas, Michael, William, and Justin Burtner; three siblings: Luanne Mello, Kathy Adams, and David Middlebrooks; and many nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, her partner, Donald Jones; her son, James Burtner; and her sister, Jane Cardine.

After attending high school at North Little Rock, Doris earned her associates degree in General Business at Arkansas Polytechnic College. While raising three children, she spent many years taking appropriate classes to advance her professional career.

With her three sons, James, Chris, and Jonathon, Doris traveled and lived in various places, such as Alaska, Germany, Arkansas, Kentucky, Indiana, Massachusetts, and Virginia. Doris worked for the National Geological Survey in Reston, Va., before she retired to Arkansas in 1996.

Doris treasured time with her family and friends. She loved to cook and attend her Bible Study group. Frequently, she enjoyed dressing up in her cowgirl boots and hat to go line dancing with her friends. She also spent much of her time creating and taking care of her beautiful backyard garden everywhere she lived.

A celebration of life will be held at Ruebel Funeral Home, 6313 W. Markham St., Little Rock, Ark., 72205 on Monday, March 27, 2023 at 10 a.m. Arrangements are under the direction of RuebelFuneralHome.com.
