LIEUTENANT COLONEL EDWARD BELAN KILEY, USAFR,

Retired, of Little Rock, passed peacefully into the arms of his Lord and Savior on March 20, 2023.

He was born on November 2, 1929 in Kismet, Kan., to Edward and Pauline Kiley.

Following his graduation from Southwest College in Winfield, Kan., he worked as an accountant for Continental Oil in Ponca City, Okla.

He retired in 1997 as a civilian auditor at the Little Rock Air Force Base, after working there for 33 years.

Eddie was preceded in death by his wife of 62 years, Patricia Dove Kiley.

He is survived by his daughters, Mindy Caid (Kevin) of Little Rock, and Kathy Dyer (Chris), of Kansas City; grandchildren, Dr. Katherine Caid, of Little Rock, and Matthew Caid of Fayetteville.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.

Visitation will be 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, March 29, 2023 at Smith North Little Rock Funeral Home, with service to begin at 11:30 a.m. Interment with military honors will be at the Arkansas State Veterans Cemetery in North Little Rock.
