CEDAR HILL, Texas — Gregory L. Hampton

went home to be with the Lord on Monday, March 13, 2023. He was born in Little Rock on January 25, 1963, to Barbara and Andrew Hampton.

He is preceded in death by both of his parents; his brothers, Andre and Cedric A. Hampton; and his wife, Sharon Pettus Hampton.

Greg accepted Christ at an early age. He and Sharon were faithful members of Greater Friendship Baptist Church until they relocated to Dallas, Texas.

Left to cherish precious memories are his sons, Cedric D. and Traivion; three grand children,Kadence, Lance, and Leena; fiancee, Evelyn Canady; sisters, Cherlyn Cleveland, Phyllis Drone (Eugene), Tena Hampton, Vickie Moore (Roy); beloved nieces and nephews; and a host of other relatives and friends.

Visitation will be held from 6-7 p.m. on Friday, March 24, at Ruffin & Jarrett Funeral Home, 1200 S. Chester Street, Little Rock. The celebration of life is set for 11 a.m. on Saturday, March 25 at Greater Friendship Christian Church, 4640 Springer Blvd, Little Rock.
