JANET TANNEHILL FOWLER,

age 73, of Little Rock, Ark., passed away peacefully March 18, 2023 at Baptist Health Medical Center Little Rock surrounded by loved ones. She was born July 14, 1949 in Many, La., to the late Marionand Cecile Tannehill. Janet was a loving mother, an adoring and supportive wife, and a faithful sister and friend, but her prized role was that of Mimi to her grandchildren and her great grandchildren.

Janet is preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, Rev. Dooley Fowler. She is survived by two sisters, Johanna Faust (Odis) and Katie French (John); and a brother, Brian Tannehill; a daughter, Lindy Neal (Scott); and a son, Richard Coburn (Charlotte); bonus kids, Michael, Heather, Trey, and Christy; 10 grandchildren, Micah, Mitchell, Zeke, Gage, Drake, Wyatt, Mason, Meesha, Mickey, and Luke; two great-grandchildren, Alice and Jace; and a number of nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held Monday, March 27 at St. James United Methodist Church in Little Rock at 10 a.m. In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made to your favorite charity. Janet had many that were dear to her, feel free to choose one of her favorites: the Pulmonary Fibrosis Foundation, the Alzheimer Association, or the Arkansas Food Bank.
