HELEN JEAN MCCRUEL,

age 86, peacefully departed her earthly life on March 15, 2023. She was born November 11, 1936, in Reedville, Ark., to the late Eusaw Pickett, Sr., and the late Bobbie Pickett.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Rollie McCruel; and her sister, Maple Pickett Foster.

She worked for 35 years in the Pulaski County Special School District as a teacher.

Helen is survived by her children, Leslie McCruel and Valerie McCruel, both of Little Rock, Ark.

The celebration of her life will be held on Saturday, March 25, 2023, 11 a.m. at First Baptist Church Highland Park, 1701 S. Pine Street, Little Rock, Ark. 72204. Funeral services are entrusted to Griffin Leggett Rest Hills Funeral Home.
