JAMES KING JR.,

80, born December 27, 1942, departed this life March 18, 2023. He is preceded in death by: parents, James and Lelor King; brother, John King; great-granddaughter, Cameren Crawford; sister, Chestine King; sister, Elnora Lewis.

James was the first Black police officer in England, Ark. He was the owner and operator of JK&R Trucking.

He leaves to cherish his memory: spouse, Rosemary King; children, Sheila (Alex) Smith, Deborah Hightower, Doris Parks, Katie (Ryan) Engle, Edwin (LaShonia) Turner; siblings, Lavada Summons, Barbara Perkins, Otis King; 12 grandchildren; bonus baby, Zion (Boo-Boo); a host of other family and friends.
