WICHITA, Kan. — Sarah Lee McDonald Poyyak,

73, of Wichita, Kan. (formerly Bald Knob, Ark.), passed from life on March 15, 2023. She was born July 27, 1949, in Searcy, Ark., the daughter of Otis S. McDonald and Zelda M. McDonald.

Sarah is survived by two grandchildren, Travis Dorion and Brandon Dorion; son-in-law, Mark Ritter; brother, Jim (D’Lisa) McDonald; nieces, Kate Baker, Leigh (Matt) Espey, Ann (Preston) Polson, Beth (Chad) Toland; as well as several great-nieces and great-nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Marr Poyyak; daughter, Renee Ritter; parents, Otis S. McDonald and Zelda M. McDonald; and brother Bill McDonald.

Graveside services will be conducted on Wednesday, March 29, 2023, at 11 a.m. at Shady Grove Cemetery in Bald Knob, Ark. Arrangements are entrusted to Powell Funeral Home Bald Knob – Judsonia. www.powellfuneralhome.net
